Item No. 1211 Italian, Renaissance Period side table In solid carved walnut with gilded accents, rectilinear in form having central baluster adorned with swags and surrounded by four columns decorated with acanthus leaves, the whole resting on a guilloches patterned base resting on lion claw feet. Restorations of maintenance. Circa late 16th century or early 17th century. 27½" by 25¾" by 31" high

Item No. 1186 French, Empire style, gilt bronze chandelier Having six arms, each with a bronze cast of a female bust, surrounding a blue ceramic center column; the whole surmounted by a torchiere. Second half of the 19th century. In the manner of François Rémond.

Item No. 1180 Imposing, Northern Indian, erotic stele Richly sculpted in red sandstone featuring male and female figures (possibly deities) standing with interlocking arms flanked by ornamental columns. Rajasthan, 10th-12th century AD. 15½" high (18" with stand) by 11½" wide (at widest point) by 6" deep

Item No. 1169 Pair of French, Louis XIV period torcheres In solid carved natural wood. The upper elements vigorously carved with acanthus leaves, the central columns, triangular in form, pierced and adorned with male masks, the whole resting on a tripod base having sculpted leaves, volutes and lambrequins. Circa 1670. Provenance: Sale in Versailles, Palais des Congres, Commissaire-Priseur Jean-Paul Chapelle, March 3, 1968-acquired by Georges Hereil, Paris. 1981: The estate of Georges Hereil, by descent to GG. 66" high

Item No. 1106 Ancient Canosan volute krater of large dimension Painted with a warrior mounted upon a horse, the handles tightly curled to resemble the volutes on Ionic columns. The colors used in art of this period inspired the painted frescoes of Pompeii two centuries later. From Apulia, circa 320 BC (now Italy, but then Greece). 21" high by 12" wide by 10" deep

Item No. 1064 Late 15th century, French, Gothic period coffre In solid, carved oak. The front composed of three panels carved in Gothic architectural style with arches, ribs, rosettes, and columns; the two side doors carved with large "linen folds"; having two inside shelves. In very good condition with excellent patina; circa 1480 with some 19th century modifications. 49½" wide by 24½" deep by 33½" high
