With veined pink marble serpentine-fronted top above a shell and foliate frieze on crosshatched and diagonal reeded ground, raised on foliate-carved double scroll cabriole legs terminating in "pied de sabots." Circa 1725.

In solid Cuban mahogany. Six tapered, fluted legs ending in original casters. With original extension mechanism and four later, matching finish, 20" wide, mahogany leaves. Circa 1780.

The whole resting upon four acanthus-leaf decorated feet; the upper compartment with looking glass of large dimensions between two Corinthian columns resting upon a single drawer; The lower compartment having three drawers, with the top drawer opening to reveal a writing compartment; Circa 1820.

Inside reveals original ebony and ivory inlaid backgammon board. Tapered, fluted legs ending in brass casters. Two drawers hold matching white and green-tinted ivory playing pieces. Late 18th century.
